In searching for the PAC Brake solenoid, I removed the hatch that is between the bed and the closet door. I cannot seem to get the latches to engage when replacing the hatch. I have aligned the lock using a Phillips screwdriver but they won’t stay latched. Any special techniques I am unaware of?

NEVER MIND…….CARPETING WAS KEEPING THE LATCHES FROM FULLY CLOSING

😅.  Bin there, dun that.  Carpeting always needs to be better attached on those bedroom/closet hatches.  Break out the scissors, heavy duty staple gun, and realign the fabric.
