Removing decorative window cover
« on: February 26, 2026, 03:29:43 PM »
Trying to remove the decorative window sconce that covers the rear slide window to address a leak coming through the pane. The bottom L brackets are easy but cannot access what ever it is that secures it at the top to pull it off. The MCD day and night shades are attached to it making it even harder to get it off. Any help would be appreciated.

Look at the side window trim.  Do you see the screw cap covers on both sides?
Pop yje covers off, now you can unscrew both sides and the entire window
Covering can be removed.  It makes it real easy.

We just removed all of our window treatments to recover them.

Hope this helps.
