Captain's Chair Gremlins

I recently completed a floor replacement. I re-installed the Captain's chair, tested it without the ignition on and all worked good. This weekend I turned the ignition on and the chair immediately moved all the way to the most forward position, where no one could possibly drive. Once it moves all the way forward, I can only move it back after turning the ignition off. I've disconnected and reconnected everything and checked the pre-sets. I can move it back to the position that I want it in and simply disconnect it, but I'd like to have it work as it should. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

   Bill,
 As I recall, this was a feature that was used to protect the chair from the slide out operation. I am not sure if this applies to your floorplan. The impression I am getting is that the seat did not do this prior to your floor job. What color wires were originally connected and how many were 12v and how many were ground wires? I would isolate the one wire that is only 12 volt active when the ignition is on. Fred

Thanks Fred. No, it did not do this previously. To be honest, I have not checked determine which wires were 12v versus ground. I simply put it back together the same as I took it apart (based on the attached picture.) You are correct, that this seat is supposed to move forward when the slide is being move, however it has never done worked. In the current instance, the movement is triggered by the ignition being turned to either start or the ACC position. Thanks
