Has anyone seen a unit with an extra fan attached to the rear lift up door of the engine compartment?
Cheers

I added one to ours.  I turn it on after a day's drive in warm weather.

I use it only in the summer or warm months to help cool the bedroom area after a long drive it does seem to help cool off the bedroom area.

So you mean it is draw heat out of the engine compartment
Not to help cool it off.

I have 2 fans on mine.  They draw heat out of the engine compartment, which cools it off.  It is on when the ignition is on.

Hey Larry
thanks for the advise.
I think I will do that.
Could help keep the alternator cooler as well, maybe!!!

Most any automotive pusher cooling fan and shroud assembly can be installed on your rear engine access door if you have a side radiator. If you have a rear radiator, the problem with installing an auxiliary fan is that there is almost no room to mount it unless you mount a squirrel cage blower high in the engine area towards the front of the coach like Beaver did on most of the 3208 equipped Marquis coaches.

Beaver decided that the auxiliary fan was not necessary, and discontinued its use on coaches after 1999. The coaches that have an auxiliary engine bay fan after 1999 were added by someone other than the factory unless it was requested as a special order option when the coach was built.
