Rear slideout problems
« on: December 20, 2011, 03:44:38 PM »
Hello I am having problems with my rear slide in my 2000 Thunder when opening it it will go out 4 to 5" then stop then go then stop and go till it is fully extended, does the same thing coming back in almost like it is missing a cog on a wheel?

Not sure what has caused this problem as it happened after a rough ride down the I 5 corridor. Is there an adjustment under the bed?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Merry Christmas

If I remember correctly, the slide has a chain drive under the bed.  If I'm correct, I guess it could be the chain is a bit loose, and jumping on the sprocket.
