Bedroom Slide doesn't release at top
« on: June 20, 2014, 05:21:29 PM »
When trying to put our electric bedroom slide out today, the bottom was traveling out, but the top was binding so the whole slide was traveling at an angle and would only go out about 3-4 inches at the bottom.   It is not the tension from the awning. When opening under the bed, we did see a round donut sized part that slides onto the motor shaft that was barely hanging by a screw but not attached.  Don't even know what it is, but I reinstalled it the way it seemed to fit back together, but not sure if there is some special trick.  Any suggestions?

Alan,
Because there are about a half dozen different slide mechanisms that were used on Beaver coaches over the 13 years that slides were installed, it is necessary to know what model coach you have before anyone can answer your question.
