Understanding my Magnum MagnaSine Inverter/Charger

In my "New" 2007 Dynasty (Patriot Thunder clone), I have a Magnum MagnaSine.  It is presently behaving erratically.  At the moment, it refuses to Charge or to Invert, and sometimes to allow shore power to pass through.
I have tried turning the various functions off and on at the panel in the cab, but at the moment, that isn't working.  It displays a red "Fault" and flashes a green "Charge"  When the batteries are off (at the switch in the battery bay) it will display a green "Inverter" if I press the On/Off.
Yesterday I fiddled with it and made the pass through stop working.  I don't know what I did to achieve that result.  Today I fiddled with the charger itself and by holding the On/Off in for a few seconds I managed to get the pass through power back on.  At that point the inverter was flashing (4 seconds green, then 4 seconds off, then so on ...)  Before that, it would flash 1 second, off 1 second, on 1 second, then off all together, until I pressed the power button again.  When I went inside, the panel still showed "Fault" and the "Charge" was still flashing continuously.

Does this behaviour mean anything to anyone?

I put the House batteries on a separate charger and have them at 100%.  The Chassis batteries are new (2 weeks old).
There is a Solar panel on the roof that I believe works to help with the house batteries.

Probably will take the manufacturer to understand this code.

 Sometimes a complete cold start reboot will reset the unit back to a normal logic state. It would require that you disconnect the AC from the coach and shut down the house battery bank with a battery switch (or main cable if no switch) so that all power is off to the unit and wait at least 30 seconds. If you have a chassis battery switch I would shut that off also in case there is an inadvertent feed somehow from that bank. This should allow the system to come back up through a normal start up routine. If it gives the same codes and problem results then you have a solid issue with the unit to share with the manufacturer.

When I got back to th ecoach, I checked teh Magnasine and it was still showing "fault", but a quick check at the unit in the basement and holding the "On" in for ten seconds brought it to life.  It worked for a few hours, then went back to "fault".  Now I can't get any repeatablity, but it goes off and can be restarted??  No more flashing of codes either.

Other than checking to see if you might have a bad battery in the bank I cannot think of much that a user can do with an intermittent fail and no code. I would call the manufacturer and see what they think. Start by telling them the code you had originally and the new symptom without a code.
