I have in the past. My Continentals were on the steer axles for years. Moved them back to the drive axle 2.5 years ago when I put Michelins on the steer. Im replacing the 4 continentals in late August with the Toyos. When my Michelins time out I will replace the steer with the Toyos also. I have had 3 different tires on the steer axle, Goodyears, Continentals and now Michelins. Quite frankly, I cant tell hardly any difference. My ride etc seems directly related to the condition of the roadway. Good road = good ride. Bad road = bad ride. Shocks made some imrovement but tires all the same to me. JMO
