Air over hydraulic brakes?
« on: June 28, 2017, 09:42:36 PM »
I have always thought my 2001 Monterey 33' Trinidad had air over hydraulic brakes.  However, due to a change of toad I am in the process of switching over from an M&G braking system which I installed myself with no problem to an SMI Air Force One system.  I have spent hours looking everywhere under the coach for the air booster I thought would be there to be able to tie into a metered air line for the Air Force One, and can find nothing.  Does anyone know for sure whether the '01 Monterey shorty model (33') had air over hydraulic systems?  Maybe it has hydraulic over hydraulic, since the master cylinder appears to have a pump, and the steering gear pump also appears to be connected to the brake master cylinder.   Thanks for any info you can provide.

I have verified that my coach does have a hydraulic over hydraulic brake system, so my Air Force One braking system goes back in exchange for SMI's Duo system.
