Heater Fans not working
« on: December 29, 2017, 08:41:25 PM »
The fans for the furnace heaters have quit working.  The AguaHot system seems to still be operating, but when the thermostat is set to Furnace, the fans never start.  Have cycled the thermostats and the AquaHot Power.  No change.  All of the statuses on the AquaHot panel in the bay are green.  The circulating pump is operating and the basement is warn, so the bay heat must be working, Have not been able to find any reference to a fuse or braker.

Any suggestions on where I should go from here?

It is a AHE-100-02S model.

Bill, does your coach have fan speed switches?  Our coach has two, one for each zone.  The Zone 1 switch, in living area, is located just below the face of the sink.  The switch for the bedroom/bath rooms is on a cabinet in the bedroom.  The switch options are high, off and low.  If you have them perhaps they are in the off position.

Best of luck with this matter.

Bill,
If the fan speed switches are on, the Aqua Hot is on and the thermostats are set to heat, check to see it the lines feeding the heat exchangers are hot. Each fan is controlled by a separate relay circuit so if none are working, it has to be something pretty basic. Also check to see that no red lights are lit on the control panel. If so, reset it.

Thanks for the replies.  There were no red lights on the panel, and all the hoses were hot.  The only fan speed controls I can find are on the thermostat,  I decided to press the reset button to see what would happen.  It fixed the problem.  System must be related to computers....when all else fails, reset.
