Static electrical short to intellitec keypad

Has anyone had this happen to you?

I am in Arizona where its dry and lots of static electricity.  I touched the key pad to turn on off the bedroom lights and got a static shock.  All of the lights went out on the key pad but the bedroom lights and vanity lights stayed on.  The key pad went dead. No buttons turn on or off the lights.

I have pulled and inspected fuses, unplugged the CPU and re-plugged it in.  Pulled  the connector to the four button light switch and unplugged and re-plugged that back all with no luck on trying to reboot that keypad.

Any ideas how to fix or did I short out the keypad with my static electrical charge?  If so is it possible to get a new keypad someplace?

Steve,
Not sure if this will help, but try cycling coach power. It may reset the unit. Also do a search on the Forum. I seem to remember someone else having a similar problem.

Steve, I had the exact thing happen to me. Ended up calling Ken at BCS and they had me ship the circuit board (behind the wall plate) and the wall plate to their parts department. The circuit board was toast and they sent the new board to someone (that they use) to reprogram the new circuit board. They need the plate with the labels so that tech knows the correct circuit to program with the switches.

Thanks Roger, I have isolated it to the wallplate circuit board and will give Beaver Coach a call when they open up and go from there.  Thanks for your help.
