On Board water filters

Hello just changed my 2 water filters in the bay area now only getting about 50% water pressure in the Coach let the taps run for a couple of minutes to rid the air and still no difference so not sure what to do now?

The filters i bought from Home Depot were white and grey one for dual systems...

Hi Paul
Looking at the obvious like the ‘Auto Fill’ and a kinked hose might help.  Absent those perhaps removing the filters and running without then reinstalling one at a time might be helpful?

With deference to Keith’s good suggestions, if the old filters allowed pressure and nothing else changed, I’d wonder if the correct filters were purchased.  Even my little blue Camco in-line filter cuts down city pressure when installed.  I prefer our On The Go portable water softener as it doesn’t interfere with pressure, although it doesn’t filter the same way.

I agree with Joel
Filters have flow rates and usually the better the filtration ( or smaller the particle removed ) the slower the flow rate.
It is possible that one or both of your new filters has a much smaller micro media in it and is slowing your flow rate to the point the pressure is low . this usually will be evidenced when you turn on a tap and get a burt of good water pressure and flow for a very short time and then the flow and pressure drop quickly because the filter can't keep up with the demand.
If you have two filters installed and one of them is a (carbon block ) filter I'd remove it first and try your flow the solid carbon block filters usually have much lower flow rates.
