William,
12v is available at the cigarette lighter but that would be on all the time unless it goes off when the ignition is turned off. A better source would be to tap into the 12v wire going to the Sony monitor. You could use a saddle crimp to tie into it w/o cutting the  wire. Otherwise you can tap into the 12v supply to any of the dash switches that activate with ignition on; e.g. driving lights, overhead fan, etc.

Haven't located a 12 volt supply yet for the new camera.  Wondering if I could tap into the lights on rear of coach?  Don't want to overload any electrical wires.  There are 4 clearance lights on back of coach but not working.  Any ideas??

Contessa back in storage due to other priorities.  Will bring it back mid week to hopefully get the 12 volt power source working on the camera.  Thanks to all for your help.  WH

I would like to hook up my Backup Camera to the rear clearance lights (5) for 12 volt power but the lights are not working.  Is there a fuse for these lights?  I wouldn't mind having the clearance lights on while traveling.  There is such a maze of wires behind the Drivers side TV but lost on which ones have 12 volts after key is turned on.  I don't want to mess anything up but need 12 volt source to replace my 12 volt Lipo battery.  Thanks, WH
