Draining water from air tanks.

On my older coach I had to periodically open up a T-valve on the air tanks to drain accumulated water produced by the air dryer. Do l also need to do that with my 2002 Beaver? I ask because I cannot find a drain valve anywhere.

The air dryer voids the water from the system before it gets to the tank. that pssst! Sound you hear is it doing that. If the dryer does it’s job and has been serviced properly there won’t be any water in the air tanks to drain. That said the tanks should have a cord to the valve or a valve to drain on each tank.
Upon looking , you can tell I haven’t drained them , they are connected to blue tubing and a solenoid / valve. That runs to purge valve manifold  under the batteries

On our 2005 Patriot, the drain valves are all on a panel inside the right rear (battery, fuel filter, muffler) compartment.

As the previous posters note, you either have cords running to the valves on the tanks, or like Bill Lampkin's and ours (see photo below) the 4
valves are on a plate in the battery bay or somewhere.  Perhaps someone with your exact model coach will speak up with guidance to any pull-cord terminus.

Joel.... I found the four valves you indicated and sent a photo of.  Am I suppose to open all these valves up and water will be purged?  Thanks!

Yes, Fred, with the engine off open them one at a time and exhaust the tank air.  Each tank has two sides to it, thus two valves each.  If you note any moisture in that air, such as mist or condensate on the tips of the nozzles, consider having the air dryer serviced.
