Fuel & Water Separator line leaking
« on: January 31, 2018, 04:08:21 PM »
Saw a puddle this morning under the coach.  Further investigation shows that one of the fuel lines to the fuel water separator is leaking. The leak is along the hose itself so it must be cracked.  I have no experience with this what so ever.  If I take the fuel line off to replace it, will the entire fuel tank drain on the ground? Will taking it off cause air to get into the fuel line system? It appears to be a thick rubber hose..... is it also a special kind of hose? Or.... should I just have a mechanic replace it?

Ok.... after posting for help I went back out and studied it more.  I was able to remove the faulty fuel line and took it to Napa auto parts where they made me a new one. I put it back on and everything is fine now.
