chassis batts

having an issue with dead chassis batteries, coach is in storage plugged into shore power but have dead chassis batteries??
coach batteries are ok.any suggestions?

Michael,
Sounds like your Echo Charger may not be working. Charge the Chassis batteries with an external charger (assuming you can't use the generator) and then check the Echo Charger operation. The manual is in Coach Assist.

    Michael,
It is not uncommon for the fuse inside of the echo charger to fail. To identify that fuse, locate the echo charger on the rear bulkhead of the battery compartment. Trace the red wire with the yellow stripe to the yellow fuse holder. The holder just pulls apart to reveal the 20amp slo-blow fuse. How old are the chassis batteries? Fred

batteries are only 8 months old, ill check the fuse.      thanks

Hey  Fred "BINGO" it was the fuse!!    why ???? is there something i need to check on?
also my other issue with the hurricane, the filter u mentioned feeding the heater is that a inline type or spin on ,other??

   Michael,
The fuel filter is in-line. Concerning the chassis batteries, I would re-charge them with an independent battery charger at a trickle charge to bring them back slowly. It also takes the strain off the Echo charger. Fred
