Tires

Has anyone had any experience with Wanli tires on their coach. I am told that they produce a 295/80R22.5 size tire suitable for use on our coaches. I was quoted a price of $459 per tire out the door (mounted, balanced and all taxes, etc.) by a dealer here in southern Oregon. That is about $200  (~40%) less than Michelin. Any advice on tires for my '04 Monterey, 38' coach will be greatly appreciated.

I would check this rebate out while in the shopping process.  I find smaller town dealers are often cheaper than the big ones, particularly on mounting.

Have you considered selling your old ones?  They make great tags for dump trucks.  Ask around at your local gravel pit.

In 2006 I replaced the tires on my coach with 295/80R22.5 from Les Schwab Tires in Bend. They sugested Bridgestone tires because from their experience, they give more even tread wear and less vibration problems than Goodyears. They were also $200 per tire cheaper than Michelin.

After 3 years on the Bridgestones as a fulltimer, I could not be happier with the tires.

Les Schwab also gave me a very generous trade-in allowance on my old tires.
