Mark,
The motor break MUST have 12v+ to release. Check both power & gnd at the motor break. Found hi resistance wire splices and undersized wire was problem in my 01 Contessa.

I increased the wire size to most of the areas I can get to. It’s probably someplace weird. I’m stumped.
