Thanks Steve and Fred,
With your help I was able to solve the problem and both blower motors work.
I replaced the driver side blower motor, part #655-1076 at NAPA auto parts. I think it comes from a c10 Chevrolet pickup truck. Had to use my old blower cage.
My Blower resistor was good, but the connections were poor and the single orange wire had melted the cover and had a lot of corrosion on it. Thanks to Steve for the part number link and called Comfort Air Parts. They convinced me to pull out the resistor and check resistance. It checked out so I replaced all the female lock tab connectors, purchased at NAPA. These are different from the typical female spade connectors and will lock into the plastic 4 pin plug. I had to replace the single plug cover as the old one was melted. Comfort Air is the only source I was able to find for the resistor. Steve's post gives the link to their website. There are similar ones at the auto parts stores, but they only have 4 male spade connections, not 5.
Thanks again
Bruce
