Dehumidifier Recommendations
« on: November 02, 2018, 09:12:27 PM »
Hi All,

So with the wet season arriving here on the Oregon and living in our 91 Contessa fulltime, I am wondering if anyone has a recommendation or had good success for a dehumidifier. Looked at some from Recommendations from Consumer ReportS, but more interested in one that has been , "RV field tested"

Thank you

I use this Whynter unit https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V69GJ54/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
When parked I have the drain hose going to the shower drain (it can be used with the included bucket or drainline).  When traveling I strap it to the rear wall in the closet.
It was one of the recommended or best-buys according to Consumer Reports. It works fine and I have had no issues with it.

I'm in FL so their is a lot of humidity. I had it running for a couple of weeks straight this summer and it added around 30 gallons of water into my gray tank.
