ENGINE DRIVE BELT GOSPEL
« on: April 12, 2010, 09:05:37 PM »

Have been attempting to find the correct replacement belt for my 01 455 Marquis with numbers in the manual that read;
Dayco 20-9205 and Magnum 0201147.
After a great deal of research I found the following which will apply to ALL BEAVER OWNERS that are having problems with looking for Dayco numbers.

The Dayco 20-9205 is the serial number, the Magnum 0201147 is the part number. Dayco has discontinued these belts BUT,

Ms. Pat Hopper of Dayco Tech Support 1 800 331-7230 says her department wrote the specs for the Beaver belts and has the information that relates to size and ribs.

They can't give you a replacement, but with the EXACT size and ribs you can get NAPA or similar outlet. (by the way Gerald, thanks for your help and yes I did try Bend Parts first. They had nothing)

The NAPA/Gates belt that is the replacement for my Magnum part #0201147 is 25-081153.  The 08 is for 8 ribs, the 1153 is for 115.3".

Ms. Hopper said she would be more than happy to assist anyone who calls her with a engine belt problem.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I had found out that the Dayco belt was a special run batch made just for Monaco. I found a parts retailer in Eugene,OR. that stocked them but they were kinda pricey plus the shipping. This should make it easier to find or order locally. Be sure to keep your old belt for an on coach spare. Marty
